Shipping policy

At waxandchains we strive to get your order to you as quickly and securely as possible. Below are the details of our shipping operations:

1. Order Processing Times
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
  • Cut-off Time: Orders placed before 2:00 PM AEST will typically begin processing the same day.
  • Weekends & Holidays: We do not ship on weekends or Public Holidays.
  • Peak Periods: During major sales or new collection launches, please allow an additional 1–2 business days for dispatch.
2. Order Processing & Fulfillment Models
To offer a wider range of products, we utilize two fulfillment methods. Your estimated delivery time depends on where the stock is currently held:
  • Waxandchains Local Stock: Items held at our local facility are processed within 1–2 business days. For these items, the standard delivery estimates (3–7 business days) apply immediately.
  • Supplier-Ordered Items: Most of our specialized inventory is ordered from our supplier locations upon your purchase.
    • Processing Time: Please allow an additional 2–4 business days for these items to reach our distribution center before they are dispatched to you.
    • Total Estimated Delivery: For these items, expect a total window of 6–10 business days for standard delivery.
2. Domestic Shipping (Australia Wide)
We ship nationwide using trusted carriers like Australia Post and regional couriers.

3. International Shipping
We currently ship to select international destinations, including New Zealand, the USA, and the UK.
  • Estimated Delivery: 10–20 business days depending on the destination.
  • Duties and Taxes: International orders may be subject to local import duties and taxes. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping rates.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number. You can monitor your shipment directly through the carrier’s website.
5. Local Pickup (If Applicable)
If you are located near our workshop, we offer Free Local Pickup.
  • Collection Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Process: You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for collection.
6. Delivery Issues & Damaged Items
If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at info@waxandchains.com.
  • Damaged Goods: Please provide photos of the damaged item and packaging within 48 hours of delivery to facilitate a claim.
  • Incorrect Address: We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
